Dog Licenses

The 2024 dog licenses are in!

All dogs 6 months and older must be licensed by March 31 annually.  Dogs who have just turned 6 months old or just moved to town must be licensed regardless of the time of year.  Proof of rabies and spay/neuter must be presented at time of licensing.

Fees:

• Spayed or Neutered:               $   5
• Intact:                                               $10
• Kennel (4 dogs or fewer)       $15
• Kennel (5-10 dogs)                   $30
• Kennel (10+ dogs)                     $60

Kennel inspection by the Animal Control Officer required prior to licensing.  Please email the ACO to schedule: animalcontrol@goshen-ma.us

To register your dog(s), you can:

1. Stop by during office hours (Monday 8:30-2:30 & 6-8) and bring cash or check, valid rabies certificate, and spaying/neutering certificate, or
2. Mail the dog license form, fee(s) and certificate(s) along with a stamped self-addressed envelope for the return of the license(s) and tag(s) to: Goshen Town Clerk, 40 Main Street, Goshen, MA 01032, or
3. Drop the paperwork described in option 2 in the town clerk drop box, located to the left of the door to the town offices.
