Temperature changes and heavy rain have resulted in difficult and damaging conditions on multiple Town roads, especially unpaved surfaces. Ball road is particularly difficult due to muddy conditions and has been closed to nonresident traffic & to prevent large vehicles from creating further damage. Residents who must use Ball Road, should approach with extreme caution. The Highway Department is continuing to address the situation as weather and conditions allow and is prioritizing the most severely impacted roads.
