The annual Memorial Day parade and ceremony is scheduled for Monday May 27. Parade participants will assemble at 9:30 AM in the parking lot across from the Goshen Town Hall located at 40 Main Street. The parade will step off promptly at 10:00AM, proceed up Main Street (Route 9) to the Goshen Cemetery off of Cape Street (Route 112). The parade will be led by the American Legion Honor Guard, followed by local veterans, scouts, and members of the Goshen Police and Fire Departments.
At the conclusion of the parade a brief ceremony will take place at the Town Cemetery. Goshen resident and local historian, Joe Roberts, will be the featured speaker. All are invited and encouraged to attend and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
