In preparation for the Special Town Meeting on September 17th at 7pm, the Finance Committee will hold an informational presentation for an hour this Saturday, September 15th starting at 11AM and again on Sunday, September 16th from 5 to 6PM. Both meetings will be held in the Town Hall. All are encouraged to attend one of the sessions to learn about the important revised recommendations for financing the landfill cap repair project, the purchase of a new dump truck and temporary repairs to the school roof at New Hingham. Monday night’s Special Town Meeting has articles related to these projects that voters will be asked to approve.
A flyer with basic information on the updates will be available at the transfer station on Saturday.
