
The Town of Goshen is seeking a part-time Assistant Treasurer/Collector to support the Treasurer and Collector in their duties and responsibilities. These include assisting in the collection of all taxes, disbursements of municipal funds, accounting for receipts and expenditures, including reconciliations, and assisting in the maintenance of financial records.
Proven aptitude for numbers and details and in using Microsoft Excel. Experience with Softright and Point software preferred, but willing to train those who have demonstrated software abilities. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. This a part-time position of up to six hours weekly with flexibility in the days & hours worked, after initial training. Start date is as soon as possible. The hourly range is approximately $15 – $18, based on experience.
All duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations, town policies and bylaws. Must be bondable.
